FLEXI LNG-Tanker

When Sirius Rederi began developing its new FLEXI LNG-tanker concept, the company needed a power generation system that would be efficient, dependable, and easy to maintain throughout the vessel’s lifetime. The power solution had to cover normal operations and at the same time provide an independent emergency source for critical systems in line with class requirements.

Our role

Power House was selected to supply and integrate the complete engine package in close cooperation with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Acting as a one-stop partner, Power House handled specification, procurement, project management, delivery logistics and commissioning support.

  • Seamless integration with the vessel’s control and electrical system
• One Volvo Penta D13 emergency/auxiliary engine
  • Dedicated emergency generator set
  • Ensures critical safety and navigation systems remain powered in case of main power loss
  • Compact, robust, and proven in marine environments

We managed the full scope: specification, engineering support, logistics, installation coordination, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and commissioning assistance.
