Power House delivered a complete containerized power solution designed specifically for a purpose-built modular dredger, where compact integration, high reliability, and regulatory compliance were critical requirements.

Our Delivery

2 × Radiator Cooled PHD16MG / PM534F Generator Sets414 kWe @ 1500 rpm, 50 Hz.

The scope included two radiator-cooled generator sets based on the PHD16MG platform, installed in customized compact container units tailored to the vessel’s limited installation space and operational profile.

Customized Container Design

To meet the environmental and operational demands of dredging applications, each container was engineered with a full set of integrated systems, ensuring autonomous and reliable operation in challenging marine conditions.

The container solution includes:

  • Tropical-rated radiator cooling system for high ambient conditions
  • Integrated electrical monitoring and control system
  • Built-in daytank for extended autonomous operation
  • IMO Tier III compliant SCR system for emissions control
  • Fully integrated auxiliary systems for standalone functionality

This high level of integration allowed for simplified onboard installation while maintaining full operational capability within a compact footprint.

The container installation was designed and delivered in accordance with *RINA classification requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable marine safety, environmental, and operational standards.
